Does anyone have a free checking account with US Bank or know the routing number for US Bank. I have their free checking account but I lost my checkbook and I want to transfer funds to my account and I can't without the routing number.

I also heard that all their different account have different routing numbers so that is why I mentioned what kind of account I have. I googled it and I am not finding anything. Not even on their website.

don't use the answer that person gave you! The routing number for your account depends on the branch that your account was opened at. There are tons of routing numbers for U.S. Bank. You need to call 1-800-USBANKS (872-2657) and talk to a rep to see what your routing number is.

Each bank has a unique routing number, so it will be impossible for one of us to know what your particular bank's routing number is. You could have a Bank of America at 5th and Pine and a Bank of America at 6th and Pine, and they'll each have different routing numbers (even though their names are the same).

Make sure you call the bank and tell them you lost your checkbook (that way if there are any fraudulent charges, you won't be help accountable). Then, ask them for the routing number.

Good luck! :)

Routing numbers are in part coded based on the Federal Reserve Branch which serves the bank. Thus it can vary by state and region and isn't generic.

I would call US Bank at their service number 1-800-872-2657 and ask.

The routing number is on your checks!! Look at the bottom left of the check, the first 9 numbers are the banks routing, the next numbers are you account number & the last few numbers are the actual check # you are on.

The routing number can vary by account type, branch location, etc. If you use the wrong routing number, your money could end up in 'cyberland' and can take longer to rectify if it is 'lost'....I recent worked with an account that took over 9 months to clear up 1 lost transaction....

Your best bet is to call your branch's 800 number, check their website, or wait till the morning and call/stop in.

the routing number is the number very first on your checks,so go to your bank and ask them.they

will look up your account for you.Tell them what happend, and they set you up up a new account, and block any checks written on your old

account.ask for a debt card.it's a card you can use like a credit card, but they take money out of

checkin account.

let me know how you make out.write a question

( P. Welsh where are you? )
