Sounds like a lot of the problem is you and your piss poor woe is me attitude. You don't even need to have a car to start driving lessons - you will need some money though, so get a job to pay for it. The jobs you're qualified for are going to suck, so deal with it. If your parents are poorer than your friends parents, there's precisely nothing you can do about that, so no sense wallowing in misery and envy, since that doesn't solve your problem.

Get any job you can, even if its McDonalds. Its a least a starting point. The better you work, the more promotions you get, your pay rises.



Get a bicycle if you can't afford a car. Later get a mo-ped.



In spare time, go to college with a goal of getting a degree. Once you have that, you can get a good paying job and have a successful life.

Almost all of us (at least in the US) have had to work fast food at some point in our lives, and almost all of us have hated it. Like someone else stated, jobs aren't for you to like, for most they are a necessity. If you really want to change your life, you're going to have to take those first steps, not someone else. And if those steps have to be on foot to your neighborhood McDonalds, then so be it. Use your hatred of that job as motivation to work hard, save your money, get your license and get into a job you think you'll enjoy. No one's going to do this for you, it's all up to you. I'm 31, never had a real job or even a learners permit. All my relationships failed and I rely on my parents for support, try beating that! I'm a total slob. Feel better about yourself now? Btw, I'm totally serious.

WOW that's weirdly cool, I don't know about rules in your country but here in India we continue our education until age of about 23-25 with our parents money & then get a job & in 2-3 years we get married. You r 18 and want a job, great. I'm 18 too. I must look out 4 this
