How can I raise my scan time up to 26 items per minute? I am trying to get promoted and this is the only thing standing in my way. Thank you

Keep your scanner clean



Learn where the bar codes are on different types of items, especially the biggest sellers, so you don't have to keep turning the items over.



Move the items to the scanner using your right hand, scan while switching hands on the item,

then use the left hand to move the item off the scanner while using the right hand to reach for the next item to be scanned.
