I bought shipping online, the adress doesnt exist and it got returned. Can I reuse the postage and change the?

I sold something on ebay and I shipped the item to a PO Box. The PO Box apparently doesn't exist and the item got sent back to me. If the buyer gives me a new address, can I reuse the postage label I already bought to resend it to another address if I just write over the original label will they accept it at the post office?

Postage is for one-time use only. You will have to buy new postage. If the buyer gave you a bad address, file an eBay dispute at once. Do NOT ship to any new address because you won't be protected against loss or scams. Re-ship if and only if YOU made a mistake on the shipping address.



In your dispute, demand that you get reimbursed for lost shipping costs and eBay/PayPal fees. 100% buyer's fault for not putting their correct address into eBay.



REPEAT: DO NOT RESHIP AT ALL unless you made a mistake on the shipping label.

You can't re-use the postage. After all, the post office did their job. This is the fault of the buyer for not providing a valid address.



Email the buyer and explain what happened. If he still wants the item, he needs to send additional money for re-shipping. If he doesn't want to do that, keep the item and refund the purchase price only, not what he paid for shipping.



Use Ebay or Paypal to print the labels so that you use the address the buyer provided. Then, you have proof that it was buyer's mistake, not yours.
