I ordered checks online and put the routing number from my old checks. I am still using the old check and got no problem with it and the company I worked with used the same routing number (old routing number) for my direct deposit paycheck. I received my new checks yesterday but the routing number is different to my old checks, I looked up online what is my routing number in Minnesota state and it is the same number on my new checks. I called the bank and I was told that in Federal law they still honor the old routing number but as of now my new routing number is good then. I just wanna make sure that the bank lady is right that both new and old routing numbers will work into my checking account? Would you think I will not have any problem into the future if I use the new check with my new routing number? Any idea or answer will be appreciated. Thanks

I am not to sure about this girly, I think you need to drive up to your bank and personally talk to the bank manager. I know for a fact there is alot of check scamming going on, and someone could have very possibly collected your information online. I can also tell you that most of the scams are done on Wells Fargo bank also. I am not trying to scare you, but I think you should really be careful, and keep a close eye on your account also! Let me know the outcome of this situation if you will!

You can call or look on your statements. Your routing number is based off of what state you opened the account in, so if you opened it in Texas, it's going to be different than Florida routing number. Calling or looking at your statements or checks are the for sure way of knowing,
