Follow the advice of others who are rich instead of those who want to be. There are books in the library that will give you the stories of those who literally went from rags to riches. Being rich is a different mindset than the rest of the population so you need to adopt that. You cannot spend more than you earn. You cannot get and stay in credit card hell. When you save money on a purchase, you need to put that money into an account that you dont have easy access to as a cushion for emergencies. You need to consider the stock market for long term investments even if only with a few dollars here or there if not automatic. Max out your 401K plan especially if your employer matches. What rich people wouldn't take free money? You dont have to go into business or be a stock investor or get into real estate but instead of working for money, let your money work for you. Don't get into the lottery... it's not going to happen. Save that $5 or $10 a week which adds up nicely in that account that I mentioned. Start today to do something to build wealth. If it were easy, everyone would be rich. It's not easy... work smarter instead or harder.
